I had no idea what I was missing. I’m training for an IM, and I’ve done several 3+hour rides on my indoor trainer and have had no chaffing following my ride. Previous to finding about 2 Tom’s Butt Shield, I would change my kit half way through an indoor ride and re-apply chamois cream. Even after that I would still get some chaffing. I do t have those issues with 2 Toms roll on or towelettes. If you’re having any issues try this product, I highly recommend it.
I am so glad that I found Butt Shield! When I started marathoning years ago, no one told me that the worst part of the sport is the chaffing you get in some embarrassing places. Thankfully, this roll-on provides great chaff prevention without the messy application issues of Vaseline!
I had in my head that it was more like a chamois cream than a (roll-on), so I was surprised by how light it was. I like that and I like it that you don't have to rub it in and also that there's no residue to get onto clothes.
The ButtSheild works great! The product is smooth and doesn't stain or look obvious when it's on. The anti-chafe product itself works great, and it is a lot more resilliant than BodyGlide.
I've loved the SportShield for years for marathon running and finally tried the ButtShield for some pretty extreme discomfort on the bike. It is honestly the only thing that keeps saddle sores at bay for me while Ironman training. Thank you thank you thank you!
What is the difference between 2Toms SportShield and 2Toms ButtShield?
