The ProStretch NightSock, with its patent-pending design, keeps the foot slightly flexed overnight to stretch the Achilles, calf, and plantar fascia.
- Adjustable straps enable the foot to stretch and flex as it progresses over time.
- It holds the foot in a semi-flexed position to keep the muscles and tendons relaxed and slightly stretched.
- The shorter sock is made of soft, lightweight, and breathable material.
- It includes exclusive toe support.
- Low-profile hook & loop fasteners that won't snag sheets and blankets.
What is the difference between the ProStretch Plus and ProStretch Original?
The ProStretch Plus is a little longer and wider which accommodates shoes up to size 14, and a weight limit of 300 lbs. It is adjustable for depth of stretch. By moving the heel rest up, the stretch is deepened and by moving the heel rest back, the stretch is lessened. The Plus model also includes a toe lift for advanced plantar fascia stretching.
The ProStretch Original weight limit is 250 lbs and fits adult shoes up to size 12.
Why is ProStretch Plus better than just normal stretching (on a wall, steps or curb)?
Check out our blog post "Stay Off the Curb: Stretch with ProStretch Plus" to find out why the ProStretch plus gives a superior stretch.
Can the ProStretch Plus be used without the toe piece?
Yes. We recommend everyone to use the device without the toe piece until they become acquainted with the device and develop flexibility.
Do I need to use the ProStretch Plus while wearing shoes? Can I just wear socks?
The ProStretch Plus should be used while wearing shoes with a supportive, rubber sole.
Can ProStretch Plus be adjusted for shoe size?
No. The adjustability feature is for the depth of stretch and not the size of the foot. Moving the heel plate back will lessen the stretch felt, while moving it forward will increase the stretch felt.
What if my foot hangs off of the ProStretch Plus?
ProStretch Plus is intended for shoe sizes 14 or below. If your foot hangs off, that is absolutely fine if you do not use the adjustable toe piece. You are still able to obtain full use of the device even if it may look a little funny.
If your shoe size is 14 or greater, you should use the ProStretch Wood.
Do I have to stand while using the ProStretch Plus or can it be used in a seated position?
The ProStretch Plus can be used to provide therapy for a number of indications. Exercises and positions for each indication are provided in our instruction manual and video. You can find both of these on our Videos and User Guides page.
Can I use two Prostretch Plus at the same time?
For safety precautions, we recommend you do not use two ProStretch Plus devices at the same time. Instead we would recommend using the ProStretch Double. With the ProStretch Double, you are able to stretch both legs simultaneously and you can use the opposite leg as leverage to deepen the stretch of the other leg.
