What is the difference between the ProStretch Original and ProStretch Plus?
The ProStretch Original weight limit is 250 lbs and fits adult shoes up to size 12.
The ProStretch Plus is a little longer and wider which accommodates shoes up to size 14, and a weight limit of 300 lbs. It is adjustable for depth of stretch. By moving the heel rest up, the stretch is deepened and by moving the heel rest back, the stretch is lessened. The Plus model also includes a toe lift for advanced plantar fascia stretching.
Why is ProStretch better than just normal stretching (on a wall, steps or curb)?
Check out our blog post "Stay Off the Curb: Stretch with ProStretch Plus" to find out why the ProStretch plus gives a superior stretch.
Do I need to use the ProStretch while wearing shoes? Can I just wear socks?
The ProStretch should be used while wearing shoes with a supportive, rubber sole.
What if my foot hangs off of the ProStretch?
ProStretch Original is intended for shoe sizes 12 or below. If your foot hangs off, that is absolutely fine. You are still able to obtain full use of the device even if it may look a little funny.
If your shoe size is 14 or greater, you should use the ProStretch Wood.
Do I have to stand while using the ProStretch or can it be used in a seated position?
The ProStretch can be used to provide therapy for a number of indications. Exercises and positions for each indication are provided in our instruction manual and video. You can find both of these on our Videos and User Guides page.
What is the benefit of the ProStretch Double (Bilateral)?
With the ProStretch Double, you are able to stretch both legs simultaneously and you can use the opposite leg as leverage to deepen the stretch of the other leg.
