March 1, 2021 (Colleyville, TX) – Medi-Dyne, a leading producer of innovative pain prevention “Products that Keep People Moving™”, announces the introduction of the Tuli’s® Cheetah® Gen2™ Heel Cup.
The patent pending Tuli’s Cheetah Gen2 is an evolution of the original Tuli’s Cheetah product. Both are designed to provide heel cushion and support for barefoot activities such as gymnastics, dance, martial arts, etc. Before the Cheetah, the only way a user could obtain the same support included continual taping, which is time consuming, costly and does not last.
The new and improved 2nd generation Cheetah continues to help protect heels and provide relief for heel pain associated with Sever’s disease, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles tendonitis. One change includes incorporating a seamless bonding between the Tuli’s Heel Cup and the lightweight, neoprene ankle sleeve. The multi-cell, multi-layer design of the Tuli’s the heel cup absorbs shock and returns impact energy just like the system naturally found in your feet. This shock absorption and elevation of the heel bone provide immediate heel pain relief and assist in long term healing. The Cheetah Gen2 also features a uniform look and design of the sleeve, heel cup, and logo all in the same neutral color. The Tuli’s Cheetah Gen2 can be found here.
“One of the most common problems youth athletes face is calcaneal apophysitis, commonly referred to as Sever’s disease. This ailment usually occurs during growth spurts and when there is repetitive stress placed on the heel. Young athletes who perform barefooted struggle to find relief more than most. This is the precise reason why the Cheetah was developed;, to enable these athletes and others to keep competing”, stated Craig DiGiovanni, Founding Partner, Medi-Dyne Healthcare Products.
